Destinee describes her career, education, and lifestyle as having an intersectional lens. She was awarded a Justice Studies and African American studies degree from Arizona State University with the goal to spread awareness on time sensitive social justice issues. Destinee has worked with orgs like the Feminist Majority Foundation on ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment, served NextGen America’s Climate Action Committee, and has met with Jericho’s DEI Committee to provide a Black American perspective for the Lead With Love: Say No to Hate event in January 2024. Destinee is currently Network Manager with the Vermont Environmental Justice Network, with the goal to connect with likeminded organizations and community members to help vulnerable communities address, rectify, and/or avoid environmental related issues.
